Summer 2011 Tim wrecks himself again physically preparing for his Edinburgh show, Tim FitzHigham: Gambler. Amazingly, more House of Lords speeches and a another show for a different HRH.

July 2011 Tim wins a filmmaking award in the Adventurists Film Festival at the Royal Geographical Society.

Spring 2011 Tim appears as himself reading his book in The Hereafter - a film by Clint Eastwood starring Matt Damon.  He does his first command performance for an HRH and a gig with Tony Hadley (it was Gold!).

Autumn 2010 Rescues a bunch of former battery hens from ownership by a supermarket chain and opens Manderlay in his back garden.

Summer 2010 New show Gentleman Adventurer opens at the Edinburgh Festival to some lovely reviews.

Spring 2010 Tim is made a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce (FRSA).

Autumn 2009 Tim is made a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).

Summer 2009 Tim's book comes out in paper back under the new and improved title ALL AT SEA

Spring 2009 Tim appears on BBC Radio 2 and 4, plays festivals in the Alps, Glasgow, Newbury, Henley and Glastonbury and films Desperate Romantics for BBC 2.

Autumn 2008 Tim does an after dinner speech at the House of Lords for the Prince of Wales Trust and films Wolfman with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro.

Summer 2008 Tim invents 'the wild morris' a traditional but endurance style of Morris Dance and morris dances 190 miles from London's Globe Theatre to the Bishop's Palace in Norwich, his showabout it The Bard's Fool sells out in Edinburgh

July 2008 Tim's first book is out called In The Bath

August 2007 Tim's Kama Sutra show wins the Spirit of the Fringe award at Edinburgh.

Summer 2007 Tim runs up Mount Vesuvius in record time becomes a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and is nominated for the Award for Innovation in Comedy by Chortle.

January 2007 Tim's bath joins the paper boat in the National Maritime Museum and Tim's Multi-award winning show In The Bath: Unplugged begins UK tour.

November 2006 Tim inflates world's largest balloon to raise awareness of environmental issues.

August 2006 Tim's Don Quixote show sells out in Edinburgh.

July 2006 Tim's quest to be a Mediaeval Knight leads to him living as a recluse in a cave in a Spanish desert.

June 2006 Tim FitzHigham, impressionist Alistair McGowan, the UK Environment Agency and the UN, set new British and European Records by assmebling a huge washing line in Trafalger Square, London, to raise awareness of environmental issues and UN World Environment Day.

May 2006 May 2006 Tim joins the Lord Mayor of Westminster in presenting the prizes at the worlds toughest canoe and kayak race, the 125 mile Devizes to Westminster.

2006 Paper Boat - the show about Tim's trip in a paper boat - continues to tour the UK.

2005 Inaugurated as The Commodore of Sudbury Quay in the County of Suffolk, appointed The Pittancer of Selby Town in the West Riding, North Yorkshire and Waterman to the Mayor and Unitary Authority of Swindon.

2005 In the Bath: Unplugged - the show about Tim's trip in a bath opens in Edinburgh. It receives five star reviews and wins the Editors' Award.

2005 Tim attends Maritime Reception at St James's Palace and is presented to Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

2005 Thomas Crapper and Co. release a lavatory named after Tim to celebrate the bath journey. This is only the second commemorative lavatory in history (the other commemorated Queen Victoria's Jubilee).

2005 Made a Freeman of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen of the River Thames.

2005 Tim becomes the first person to successfully row the English Channel in a Bath. He then rowed 200 miles, round Kent, and finished at Tower Bridge, having rowed the last 120 miles following a broken shoulder.

2004 The Record Breaking Paper Boat becomes the Special Boats Exhibit at the National Maritime Museum (Small Boats Division) in Falmouth, Cornwall.

2004 Made a Freeman of the City of London

2004 Tim attempts to become the first person to row the English Channel in a Bath. The attempt is called off in a force 6 to 7 storm just 4 miles from success. Tim badly injured in the storm but plans another attempt.

2003 Broke 383 year-old World Record by paddling a paper boat 160 miles down the River Thames to raise money for Comic Relief.

2000 - 2003 Tim tours the UK in various sketch shows playing 200 to 1000 seat theatres, writes for a couple of BBC Radio series and gets very lost in Tangiers.

2000 Established the Infinite Number of Monkeys Production Company to tour live sketch shows in the UK. The company started with a pen, a banana, and £364.84. It now has a turnover a bit bigger than that.

2000 Won Spirit of the Fringe Award (the other winners that year: Ross Noble and Mackenzie Crook).

1999 Nominated Perrier Best Newcomer as writer and performer on his first trip to Edinburgh for an idea that started on a napkin.

1998 Tim farms pigs in the West Indies, explodes a lavatory, and starts telling stories to make people laugh in a rum shop up a goat track at the top of a hill.
